Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information Something Somewhere Outdoor Collective collects, why we use it and the choices available to you.

Last updated 31 August 2026

Information we collect

  • Name, email address, phone number and booking selections.
  • Payment and transaction identifiers supplied by our payment provider. We do not receive or store complete card, bank account, UPI PIN or OTP details.
  • Messages you send to customer support and operational information needed to deliver your session.
  • Basic technical data such as browser type, device information and security logs.

How we use information

  • To create, confirm, manage and support bookings.
  • To communicate launch details, schedule changes, safety information and customer service responses.
  • To verify payments, prevent misuse, meet accounting obligations and resolve disputes.
  • To improve website reliability and the participant experience.

Sharing and processing

We share only necessary information with service providers involved in payment processing, website hosting, email, SMS and WhatsApp messaging, safety and session operations. Payments are processed through Razorpay. Booking confirmations and transactional updates are sent only through the channels selected at checkout. Providers process information under their own terms and applicable law. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and security

Contact details attached to completed or closed bookings are automatically anonymised after 365 days by default, unless a longer period is required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, an unresolved transaction or another legal obligation. Transaction references and non-identifying operational totals may be retained longer. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct or delete eligible personal information, or change your booking-notification preferences, by emailing hello@somethingsomewhere.co.in. Transactional messages are not marketing. Some records may need to be retained where required by law or for unresolved transactions.

Updates

Effective 13 September 2026. We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The latest version and effective date will remain on this page.
